Mussel Choir LAB
During June Carbon Arts and ANAT held a one week intensive LAB to develop the Melbourne Mussel Choir, Natalie Jeremijenko’s winning proposal for the Echolology: Making Sense of Data public art commission.
Scientists, architects, lighting designers, musicians, hackers, the general public and all sorts of bright minds descended on our studio in Melbourne to engage with this exciting project, due to launch next year in Lend Lease’s Docklands development.
The Mussel Choir LAB forged new ground in participatory and cross-disciplinary collaboration involving humans and non-humans in environmental sensing and open data arts practice. Go team!
